Shimano Tiagra 12 Reel
The Shimano Tiagra 12 Reel is designed to fish line between 12 and 20 pound test making it a superior light tackle reel. A maximum strike drag of 23 pounds, smooth 6 ball bearing operation, a 3.9:1 high speed gear ratio and 1.7:1 power low gear. Shimano Tiagra "A" Big Game reels are the new standard for offshore angling. Increased strike drag, while maintaining freespool, make these reels excellent for fishing spectra lines and mono topshots. Smaller lighter tackle for large game fish. These reels are built from solid aluminum pipe stock that eliminates any frame flex. Anodized a rich gold color for great looks and excellent corrosion resistance. Updated features include Offset Ergonomic Power Grip Septon Handle, Permalube improves freespool, protection and durability of moving parts, chrome plated sideplate screws to improve corrosion resistance, indexed ratcheting drag lever for precision adjustment, eliminating the chance of the drag lever backing off due to vibration.
