Everything about the Fin-Nor Ahab series focuses on catching big saltwater
gamefish. Available in 4 IGFA line classes, all key components are big and
strong — designed for rugged offshore use — beginning with the patented
MegaDrag®.
Truly the best spinning reel drag on the market, MegaDrag measures nearly an
inch and one-half in diameter — up to twice the size of the drag washers
found in other spinning reels — to provide a smooth pressure curve from
initial tension, all the way through the end of the battle.
Patented "no-tool" drag washer change system gives the experienced angler
the ability to decide exactly what type of control is needed and to make
that change with just a moment's notice.

The Fin-Nor Ahab rods were designed specifically
for Ahab spinning reels. Built in both inshore and light offshore models,
these rods compliment the quality and sizes of each Ahab spinning reel.
Inshore models feature high-quality graphite blanks, cork or EVA grips, Fuji
or Fin Nor aluminum reelseats and Fuji guides. Seven-foot models are
available in line classes to perfectly match the Ahab 8, 12, 16, and 20
line-class reels.
Ahab light offshore spinning models are also available for those who use
their reels out in the Gulf Stream and need heavier lines and more strength
to pull on bigger, more powerful fish.
