Deep Jigging was developed in Japan, the concept started back in the early 1990's when sport fisherman were targeting Bluefin Tuna.  Commercial pressure was keeping the tuna from coming to the surface, frustrated fisherman needed a way to get their offerings down deep fast to reach these fast moving fish.  The idea of jigging has expanded into other areas, like reef and wreck fishing, fishing around the oil rigs in the Gulf, and most locations where structure is a factor.  Here we have assembled jigging "kits" that include all of the necessary hooks, rings, and jigs for their intended application.  These are our most popular combinations, however, we can custom build jigging kits to your specifications.  Give us a call or drop us an email, we would be glad to help. 

Wreck Reef Jigging Pack to 250'- here is a selection of Shimano Butterfly Regular and Flat Side Jigs specifically assembled for wreck and reef fishing, at depths up to 250'.  When the current is slow, you want to fish the Regular Shimano Butterfly Jigs, when the current picks up or if you are on a faster drift, switch over to the Flat Side Butterfly Jigs.  This kit includes:
