Had a client drop off a White Sea Bass head from about a 60# fish caught off La Jolla this week, he said they caught the 60, a 50 and a couple of 30's.  Time to have a look.  Jamie is running a clients Viking over to San Clemente Island this weekend, so we will have a fresh report from the skinny island shortly.  Weather looks promising for the next few days.  The Balboa Angling Club's Lily Call Tournament is this weekend along with the Balboa Yacht Club's bay tournment.  Bay fishing has made a vast improvement this week with good scores on the Spotted Bay Bass.  3" Hammers in Clear Red Fleck, Atomic Punk, Spottie Special and Toast have been doing it for the plastics.  Yo Zuri Crystal Minnows have been the ticket for the trollers.
