The Balboa Angling Clubs Master Angler Billfish Tournament kicked off this morning.  The boats are fishing off Southern California in a light tackle striped marlin tournament.  The first hookup was reported at about 7:15 from the boat Ospery.  The fish was released at 8:21 and was caught on 20# line.  They are fishing in grid 46 off the front side of San Clemente Island.
