SPOT Personal Satellite Messenger- With 4 function buttons the SPOT Personal Satellite Messenger is unlike a traditional GPS device which only receives a satellite signal indicating your position. SPOT utilizes dual satellite networks to receive your location as well as transmit it along with pre programmed messages to the recipients of your choice. SPOT allows 4 different functions: Ask for Help which allows you to request help from friends and family at your exact location. Check In- which lets your contacts know where you are and that you are ok. Track Progress- which sends and receives your location and allows your contacts to track your progress using Google Maps. Alert 911- Dispatches emergency responders to your exact location should you get into trouble. All Services require Activation and Subscription fees. Anglers Center, Inc. is an Authorized Reseller of the SPOT device. Worldwide Coverage- SPOT works around the world, including virtually all of North America, South America, Europe, Australia, North Africa, Northeastern Asia and hundreds or thousands of miles offshore of these areas. Additional Features Include: Waterproof to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes, Floats.
